Phelps, New York
I was introduced to the art of photography as a young girl, experimenting with a (now antique) Pentex, under the loving guidance of my dad. He didn't spend much time teaching me about aperture or white balance, but he taught me how to frame the images with my heart; to capture the moment, the emotions, the memories, to take comfort in the sweet sound of the shutter release. He taught me that the good photographs are the ones that tell a story. And so my love of photography began.
I live in Phelps with my husband and six children (my favorite models) ranging in age from seven to nineteen. I am a homeschooling mother, an artist and a lover of nature and animals.
My love of (and patience with) children is evident in your session. My goal is for your family to have a great experience, to laugh and giggle and capture beautiful moments. Safety is top priority with your little ones, and being patient and waiting for the shy child to warm up is more important than rushing to get the session done quickly. I don't set strict time restrictions on your photography sessions. You can plan on about an hour, but I will take as much time as your family needs to get the beautiful images you will cherish for a lifetime. I am so happy that you have stopped by for a visit. I am looking forward to working with you and your family.
